Well I said I would post on the 11th how big Carley is getting I'm only a few days late. She is 25 inches long and weights 13.2 lbs. She is not as big as Addison was at this age but she is still a big girl. She had to get shots also. I have never watched the nurses give them before so I thought I would this time. What was I thinking!!! I felt so bad when I saw my poor baby get poked. She let us know about it too. Addison would cry for a minute and then be ok after she got in my arms. Well Carley doesn't. She cried and cried. I finally just put her in her car seat and we went home. She slept all the way home. Addison was so funny in the Dr. office. She was telling Dr. Jones "sissy this and sissy that" she is a mess. She is such a good big sister.

I know it has been awhile but it has been a very busy summer so far. Alan has been busy with work and I have been busy with the girls. I love it though. I feel like this summer has gone by so fast. Alan has played in a few golf tournaments back in McCurtain County and we still have several more coming up.

In June we took a trip to New Mexico to see my family which I loved and will have to do again soon. July we spent the 4th with Chris, Lindsay, Cason and Lindsay's family. We really enjoyed that. We also just got back from Oklahoma a few days ago. I went to see my good friend Laci. She is the one who took the pics of the girls. We had so much fun riding horses!! It was the first time I have been away from Carley for about five hours! She did good she stayed with her daddy and Nana K.

Carley is growing up so fast she is teething which is sooo much fun. She can roll over and scoot all over the floor. She wants so bad to play with her big sister. Her eyes are still blue green. I hope they stay that color but I'm sure they will turn brown. She is going to the doctor on the 11th so I'll post how big she is then.

Addison is doing good. She is really starting to talk and express herself. I don't know if that is a good thing or not. She had so much fun out at Laci's parents. She loves being outside!! She loved riding the pony. She is a natural. At one point while she was waiting her turn to ride she turned to me and said "mommy I so happy". My heart melted. She is tooo cute.

Here are some pics of the girls my sister in law took over Me moral Day weekend. My computer is working as long as I only use cds to download pics. Yes I know it is time for a new computer. Well I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!! We went to Ada to be with Chris, Lindsay, and Cason. Lindsay has family that all gets together at Francis a small town not far from Ada. We really enjoyed being around everyone. Lindsay's family all made us feel like we have known them forever. The kids had a lot of fun playing games as well as did some adults. After lunch we went swimming at Lindsay's parents house. Addison loves the water!! It was the first time for Carley to get in a pool and she really liked it. We went back to her grandparents house for hamburgers and to wait for the fireworks to start. The whole day it looked like it could rain but it held off right up until it was time to start fireworks. Then the heavens opened and it poured. It rained us out. I was glad the kids are still young enough not to get disappointed. We stayed the night a Chris and Lindsay's and came home this morning!! I'm so tired as well as the kids. I know why my mom used to get so tired when we did anything. It is a lot of work, but it is sooo worth it.

We all had a really good time out there and we are missing the wonderful weather! I got my computer to take pics so I'll try and post some more after the 4th weekend. Hi everyone sorry it has been a little while. We have been in New Mexico for over a week. We went to see my parents. It was so nice and cool we didnt want to come home!! The trip out there was nice we went to Clovis first to see my grandmothers. They hadnt seen Carley yet and one of them had never seen Addison before. It was wonderful! We spent the night at my aunt Joey's and got up the next morning and drove on to Ruidoso. The girls had a wonderful time out there. Addison got to play with her cousins for the first time and had a blast! Alan got to play at three golf courses which made him very happy and I got to do a little shopping and got to spend a lot of time with my parents. I got to be with Angie and Cassie some too. We went to a family reunion on my moms side and got to meet some new people. They had a theme which was cowboy. I had so much fun dressing the girls up they looked so cute! Addison had so much fun that she didn't want to leave. They had pony rides, a bounce house, among just a few things. She rode they pony all by herself. She comes by that honest!!! Ill try and get some pics up if my computer works.
Something exciting happened today Carley was playing on her belly and she rolled completely over. I yelled for Alan which scared him!! She is also scooting around on her belly! I cant leave her on anything by herself. I cant believe she is doing all of this so early. I guess she is trying to keep up with her big sister. I hope she waits a little bit before she starts crawling or worse walking! LOL.

So it has been a long time since I have posted. Being a mom of two girls is a handful. I have just started to get my act together. Im learning how to manage two kids, a home, Alan, and still have a little time for myself. The girls are doing good. Addison is the best big sister ever. She would do everything for me if I would let her. I think she and Carley might make a big mess if she tried to change a diaper. LoL! As you can see in the new pic I put up Addison is really good at holding her. We are gearing up for a busy summer. Alan has been busy with work, he is planning on playing in several golf tournaments this summer back in Idabel. We are going to see my family in New Mexico this month. I'm supper excited!! Alan is dreading the trip! My two grandmothers have never seen Carley and one of them has never seen Addison. I feel so bad about that. We will need lots of prayers. Well I promise not to take so long again to write next time.

Hey everyone my sister-in-law has put up pics of Carley. I will try and put up some of my own however I don't have that many because of course I had just given birth. My labor by the way was wonderful thanks to drugs. I have been told that I was quite funny when they gave me a shot of something to help with the pain.

Well Ms. Carley Marie is here. She was born March 31st @ 4:30. She weighs 8.4 and is 19in long. She has a lot of dark straight hair. Most everyone thinks she looks like me, I think she is a mix of Alan and I. Addison is in love with her new sister and seems to be adjusting well. The first night home was a long one. I think Carley had her days and nights mixed up. I'm not used to a baby that doesn't sleep all night long!! Last night went much better she only woke up once to eat. I had to wake her up just so she would eat! I would be worried about her if Addison hadn't done the same thing. Alan is already back at work. He wanted to go back the day after we got home but I told him I could use him at least one night! He is working on a night job right now and that seems to be working out for us so far. I'm not sure how much longer he can take it though. I will try and get a pic up of Carley soon. Thanks to all of you for your support and prayers. Our family and friends are wonderful!!

OK everyone I went to the doctor on Friday and I was 2cm. Dr. Dooley said if i was a 3 or 4 she would just send me over to the women's center and have Carley, but of course my girls don't like to come out until they are good and ready. They get that from their mother. We are now scheduled for induction Tuesday morning. We have to be there at 7:30. I was kind of glad that we didn't have her on Friday because all the family can be there and I love things to be planned!! I'm a little nervous about the delivery even though this isn't my first rodeo. Addison's delivery was so easy I just can't see how I can have another one like it. I hope we get to come home Thursday afternoon if everything goes smoothly. It may take me a little while to get pics up but my sister-in-law Lindsay will have some on her blog I'm sure.

Well we went and had that sono yesterday. Everyone should know by now I have big babies. Alan thought she would weigh in at 7.4 and I thought she would weigh 8. Well drum roll please the girl weighs in a 8.1. Thats right she isn't due until April 14th, but there is no way I'm going to let her get much bigger!! The last thing I want is a c-section. We go back to the doctor on Friday and I guess hear what she has to say. I think we will still have her on the 31st of this month if she doesn't decide to come on her own.

I got great news today. I had a appt. with the heart doctor to see how my heart was holding up during this pregnancy. I had what is called a echo which is about like a sono. My heart is looking the same which is great!! They had thought it might be leaking more since I have a lot more blood flowing through it. After the test it showed that the leaking was the same as before so the pregnancy hasn't put any more strain on it. So now I'm just waiting to see how big this girl is on Friday. I think she is about 8lbs. Alan isn't sure. I think she will weigh somewhere around 9lbs when she is born! I guess we will know soon enough.

Ok so it has been awhile sorry. I'm still having a lot of contractions and this week has been rough. We went to the doctor today and I'm almost dilated one cm. I go back next Friday for a sono to see how big she is. My next doctors appt. is the 27. Lets just hope Carley hangs in there a little longer!! Thats all the news for now.

Well we had fun last night. I was having contractions at home every 5 to 7 min. apart. So once again I called and they wanted to observe me and the baby for a couple of hours. Sure enough I was having pretty strong contractions and they were coming every 3 to 4 min. They ran all the preterm tests and everything came back neg. They gave me a bag of iv and that brought the contractions back down. I'm ready to have this baby but I think it is a little early yet!! Addison and Alan went with me. Addison fell asleep. So she hopped into bed with me and took a nap. She is such a big girl!! We got home around two in the morning so today we are taking it easy.

Ok so I'm new at this blogging thing. So everyone have pitty on me. I thought this would be a way so that everyone could keep up with us. I'm going to be really busy in about five weeks and I might not have time to mail out pics of the girls. So I will try and keep this blog up to date for everyone. I hope you all enjoy.
